Manchester United are looking to get the 2022/23 season up and running tonight with a huge Premier League game against Liverpool.
United have lost the opening two games of the season, although opponents Liverpool have have a problematic start too, drawing their first two games.
The match at Old Trafford is crucial for both sides, and United will still be haunted by last season’s 5-0 defeat, and a 4-0 loss at Anfield.
A 4-0 win in pre-season doesn’t count for much, but psychologically it will give this side belief that the team can get all three points tonight.

Predicted Manchester United XI v Liverpool
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has key decisions to make leading into tonight’s clash. Expect several changes.
David de Gea will retain his place in goal due to a lack of options, although frankly he deserves to be dropped due to poor performances.
Likewise Diogo Dalot will start at right-back, but we foresee a change at the left-back position. Tyrell Malacia should get the nod ahead of Luke Shaw.
Raphael Varane will also return to the starting line-up, at the expense of Harry Maguire. New signing Lisandro Martinez will retain his place, to partner Varane.
Casemiro isn’t eligible to play, so United’s midfield will have a makeshift feel. This is a great game for Donny van de Beek to finally get a start.
Fred will start in midfield, dreaming of replicating his pre-season wondergoal against Liverpool, with Bruno Fernandes getting the nod over Christian Eriksen.
We are expecting one big change in attack, with Anthony Martial returning to the starting line-up at the expense of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho will start in attack on either side, but they will need to perform or face being dropped.
In: Varane, Malacia, Van de Beek, Martial
Out: Shaw, Maguire, Eriksen, Ronaldo
