Manchester United continue their pre-season as they face Wrexham in San Diego on Tuesday night, with the game expected to be academy centric.

The game, despite being on Tuesday night in the US, has a 3:30am UK kick-off time. It is the fourth game of pre-season for Erik ten Hag‘s Red Devils and they will be hoping to continue their perfect record.

Wrexham have also been touring the USA with a 5-0 loss to Chelsea and a 4-0 win over LA Galaxy’s second team.

This game will provide a huge chance for the youngsters to impress Ten Hag and to experience playing in front of a packed SnapDragon Stadium.

Predicted Manchester United line-up

In goal while he is still so young, we hope that Elyh Harrison is given the chance to impress. At 17-years-old Harrison is the most exciting goalkeeping prospect at the club.

In defence we expect to see some senior names, namely Jonny Evans who should start at centre-back alongside Will Fish.

At right-back, Marc Jurado should get the nod after impressing against both Lyon and Leeds United while we expect Alvaro Fernandez to play as one of the first-team players.

In midfield we expect to see the usual three we have been used to, with Dan Gore in the six, alongside £8.5m Hannibal Mejbri and Isak Hansen-Aarøen in either right role.

In attack, £7m Facundo Pellistri should be given the minutes on the right as he could play a serious role this season as he looks ready to live up to his fee.

On the left we expect to see Shola Shoretire who impressed in parts for Bolton last season and will be keen to attract interest for another loan move.

Up front will be Joe Hugill who has already bagged one goal on pre-season so far, and will be hoping to add to his tally against Wrexham.

Possible XI: Harrison; Jurado, Evans, Fish, Fernandez; Gore, Hannibal, Hansen-Aaroen; Pellistri, Shoretire, Hugill.
