Manchester United face Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford this weekend looking to bring some cheer back to supporters.

It feels like it has been a long week after last Saturday’s loss at Spurs. Thankfully we have a home game this weekend.

A narrow win and a bad performance won’t be enough to lift the gloom. We need a strong display and a convincing win to really pick up the mood.

There will be changes to the team this week, after Mason Mount and Luke Shaw suffered injuries.

Predicted Manchester United XI

Erik ten Hag will make some adjustments to his side, in defence, midfield and attack.

Andre Onana will start in goal, with three of the same back four. Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka will all start.

Diogo Dalot is in line to replace Luke Shaw. Tyrell Malacia is out injured. Dalot actually played lef-back away to Forest last season.

Midfield will see a switch, with Christian Eriksen finally resuming his partnership with Casemiro, and Bruno Fernandes is also an automatic pick.

Where it gets interesting is the front three. Marcus Rashford needs to move back to the left, regardless of who comes in.

Options include Jadon Sancho through the middle or Anthony Martial. We are tipping Martial to get the nod.

The right wing is a little more contentious. Antony has not been great in the first two games, and we would love to see Facundo Pellistri get the start. However, we expect the Brazilian will retain his place.
