Porto want to re-sign Alex Telles from Manchester United, report Portuguese newspaper Correia da Manha.
Manchester United signed Telles from Porto for £13.6 million in 2020 on transfer deadline day, to compete with Luke Shaw.
Telles, 29, was mainly back-up in his first season and at the start of this one, before getting regular chances under Ralf Rangnick.
Despite increased game time, Telles has struggled to convince and there is a strong chance new manager Erik ten Hag elects to sell him this summer.

Porto want to re-sign Alex Telles
Correia da Manha report Porto want to re-sign Alex Telles, where he was a popular player, making 195 appearances in five seasons.
Porto won the league this past season and believe Telles would still be an asset for them.
Telles’ future will be decided by new manager Erik ten Hag, who says he will be carrying out his ‘own analysis’ on the club’s players.
It would not be a surprise to see United let Telles move on, and bring in a new competitor to challenge Luke Shaw.
Brandon Williams is also returning from loan, and teenager Alvaro Fernandez has been on the first team bench in recent weeks.
Despite his mixed Manchester United form, Telles has been back in Brazil’s recent squads and hopes to make Qatar 2022.
If he is not Ten Hag’s first choice then he may want to move on and play regularly, to maintain his place.

Telles reflects on the season just gone
In a message on Instagram after United’s last game, Telles reflected on whether this season had been a failure. He suggested that regardless of the team’s poor results, he was pleased to reach the milestone of 50 Manchester United appearances.
A return to Porto could be well timed. Telles has played two seasons at United, and it hasn’t quite worked out. He doesn’t appear to be the future of United’s left-back position, even though at times, he has done a job.
One question over a return to Porto is the salary, whether he would have to take a wage cut, and by how much. This could leave United having to loan him out, rather than selling him permanently.
Telles ends this season with four assists, and one goal, a memorable volley to spark a comeback at Old Trafford against Villarreal back in September.
