Peter Schmeichel has slated one Manchester United star in particular following the 3-3 draw against Galatasaray in the Champions League.
Manchester United’s fate in the competition is effectively sealed but if they are to qualify they will need to beat Bayern Munich and hope for the best.
Erik ten Hag’s side held a two-goal lead twice but threw it away due to a string of errors from Andre Onana that cost the Red Devils the game.
United had a plethora of chances to win the game after being pegged back by the Turkish side but failed to convert, with a guilt-edged chance missed by Anthony Martial perhaps the pick of the bunch.

Schmeichel slates substitute
Peter Schmeichel, speaking on CBS Sport, was not very happy with one United man following his cameo in Turkey.
“When you’re 2-0 up – and it’s not the first time we’re 2-0 up in this tournament – you kill the game. You make sure the other team can’t get into it,” Schmeichel said
“You keep the ball, you make sure you don’t make mistakes – and a lot of mistakes were made today.
“And of course, you also have to look at players like when Hojlund came off, a lot of the pressure from the very, very front disappeared.
“The guy he [Ten Hag] put in (Martial) doesn’t do anything, where you had before someone who works really, really hard for the team up front all of a sudden you don’t have that pressure.”
Martial’s impact
Despite doing so well against Everton, the Frenchman did not offer the same impact that he did at Goodison Park, and replacing Rasmus Hojlund with Martial looked like a risk.
The Frenchman had one or two golden chances to win the game but he couldn’t apply the finishing touch that was needed for the Red Devils to win the game.
Taking off Hojlund for the Frenchman did seem to be a rather strange decision and it is one that has backfired massively.
