Paul Pogba had a frosty relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson during his first spell at Manchester United, but he has now revealed that he was fined on his first day with the senior squad.
After emerging as a talent in Manchester United’s academy, Paul Pogba blossomed at Juventus, where he won two Serie A titles in his first two seasons under Antonio Conte.
Pogba returned to United in 2016 for a world record fee, but never reached the heights many, including himself, expected.
Still, his return came as a huge surprise, but it will forever be a shame that United were unable to get the best of him.

Did Manchester United make a mistake signing Paul Pogba in 2016?
Sir Alex Ferguson fined Paul Pogba on his first day
Sir Alex Ferguson had no issue giving players the cold shoulder if he felt they weren’t carrying their weight.
Pogba is a perfect example of that.
It turns out Pogba didn’t get off to the best of starts with Ferguson, after showing up for his first call-up late.
Speaking on Rio Ferdinand Presents, Pogba said: “If you remember, the first day I was called up, me and Joshua King, you won’t remember.
“We had a meeting at Carrington, and then from Carrington, we go with the bus to Old Trafford, and then we go to the hotel.
“But me, I didn’t know, so I went first to Old Trafford, and I was late for my first call-up with the first team.
“And then I was sweating. I was sweating, me and Joshua. And Joshua wanted to kill me because it was my fault. And then I came in and it was ‘fined, fined’, you guys are late.
“And I’m like ‘f****** hell boss’. That’s the gaffer. ‘F******* hell. Kid’s first day. F***** late.’ That was my first time.”
Pogba went on to leave United to sign for Juventus. He also returned to the Italian club after his second spell at Old Trafford.
