Speaking on the Rio Ferdinand Presents YouTube channel, Pogba explained two former United teammates he enjoyed playing with.

“I also enjoyed playing with [Nemanja] Matic at United, a quality, tall guy, who was able to move with the ball, and also had good passing.

“I loved playing with Bruno, you know, and I don’t think at this time, it was, and I came from injury, the team was winning, and we didn’t, you know, we changed the formation, he was playing as a, he was behind the striker, he was 10.

“And Fred was playing, and Scott was playing a little bit also. We didn’t find the perfect match for me, you know, but playing with Bruno also, yeah.”

Pogba and Matic formed a good partnership, while Fernandes and the Frenchman were two of the best creative midfielders in the league.
