Former Arsenal midfielder and OGC Nice manager Patrick Vieira has already hinted at what Erik ten Hag can expect under Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
It seems after 11 months of haggling, the Glazer family have finally decided to part ways with 25% of Manchester United to Sir Jim Ratcliffe who, according to Reuters, is set to pay around £1.25 billion for the stake in the club.
According to The Times, this gradual process would be with a view of buying all of the shares from the American family and the 70-year-old billionaire being the majority shareholder of the club.
Well, Vieira, who was sacked by the French side, who are owned by INEOS, has already hinted at what Erik ten Hag can expect from Britain’s second wealthiest man.

Speaking to FourFourTwo back in April of this year, the former Arsenal midfielder spoke about how much of an influence Ratcliffe had on the club.
“He’d never interfere with my work,” Vieira said. “We’d talk about football when we met, about the team and our lives, but he’s not an owner who will get involved too much and prevent the manager from doing his job.
“His ambitions and expectations are high, so you know where you stand, but you can do your job freely.”

The last thing the former Ajax head coach would need during a tough period at Old Trafford is a new owner getting too involved with the day-to-day running of the football side of the club.
What should happen, however, is the right football people need to be put in place to help the 53-year-old when it comes to transfer decisions.
Paul Mitchell, formerly of AS Monaco and Southampton, has been heavily linked with United, and INEOS are said to be keen on appointing the 42-year-old, who has years of experience, to head the club’s much-needed revamp according to Sky Sports.
