Patrice Evra pulled no punches towards Arsenal fans after Manchester United’s sensational penalty shootout win in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.

Arsenal crashed out of the FA Cup at the Emirates against 10-man Manchester United and Ruben Amorim’s men punched their ticket to the fourth round.

United will now be reunited with Red Devils legend Ruud van Nistelrooy, who served as interim manager in the 2024-25 campaign after Erik ten Hag was sacked.

Ruud van Nistelrooy, who was assistant manager under Erik ten Hag, is now in charge of Leicester City and the Foxes will travel to Old Trafford next month.

Evra trolls Arsenal fans after Man Utd win

Manchester United broke the deadlock at the Emirates in the second half thanks to Bruno Fernandes before the Red Devils suffered a major setback.

Diogo Dalot was sent off after picking up his second book on Sunday afternoon before Arsenal defender Gabriel pulled the Gunners level in the FA Cup tie.

Altay Bayindir overcame a shaky first half and stepped up his display in the second half, including denying Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard from the spot-kick.

The 26-year-old Turkey international produced heroics again during the penalty shootout after he denied Arsenal star Kai Havertz from the spot-kick.

United played out a 1-1 scoreline in regular playing time and extra-time before clinching a 5-3 win on penalties, with all five Red Devils players successfully converting.

Patrice Evra took to Instagram and reminded Arsenal fans about his comparison between Netflix and the Gunners in a hilarious social media post.

The United legend wrote: “Oups [sic] breaking news: Arsenal[‘s] [Netflix] show seasons 21 loading… don’t miss it.”

Evra continued to troll Arsenal fans in the comments of his post and the 43-year-old Frenchman didn’t hold back with his feelings on the Gunners.

“The little Arsenal fans: ‘Uncle Pat,’ this is the right direction for [a] trophy,” he wrote.

“Me: ‘Yep, right there I LOVE THIS GAME [sic]. Read it with my own voice, please.”

What did Evra say about Arsenal and Netflix?

Speaking to former United teammate Rio Ferdinand, Evra couldn’t resist taking aim at Arsenal fans in 2024 and mocked the Gunners for their mentality.

“Watching Arsenal is like watching Netflix,” he said on the YouTube channel Rio Ferdinand Presents last October.

“You always have to wait for the next season!

“Trust me, every season is going to be like that so don’t even get involved. I’m really nice, peaceful. Of course, United right now is a disaster.

“But please don’t speak about Arsenal because now, what, you’re going to cry for the referee, come on.”
