Patrice Evra has talked up Manchester United transfer target Jude Bellingham and says he wishes he was starring at Old Trafford.
Bellingham starred for England in the country’s opening World Cup game against Iran, scoring the opening goal in a 6-2 victory.
His performance earned plaudits from Manchester United legend Patrice Evra, who said he would love to see him at Old Trafford.
Speaking with Rio Ferdinand on Vibe With Five: “When I see him playing for Dortmund, I wish he was playing for a club like United. What a player.”

Bellingham is a long-term Manchester United target
Manchester United famously attempted to sign Jude Bellingham in the summer of 2020, and lost out to Borussia Dortmund.
Bellingham will feel he made a smart strategic choice for his career, developing outside of the spotlight of Premier League football, while establishing himself as a star.
Now a regular for England, Bellingham is seen as a dream signing for Manchester United’s midfield, and will cost far more than the price Dortmund paid for him two years ago.
The Mirror reported United plan to revive interest and make Bellingham the club’s top transfer target next summer.
A takeover could fuel United’s spending power to bring him on board – but Bellingham ultimately will choose his next club.
Rio Ferdinand said earlier this week he could see a pathway for Bellingham to choose to sign for United, but he was sceptical.
If United are to stand any chance, the club will have to secure Champions League qualification for the 2023/24 season.
