Sir Alex Ferguson, who led United to all 13 of their Premier League titles, had 10 players who would only feature in the league once for the club in their careers.
However, Jose Mourinho is the only United manager since the Premier League’s inception to have played three players in the same league match only once.

Jose Mourinho changed up his team in preparation for the 2017 Europa League final, with the ‘Special One’ picking Demetri Mitchell, Joel Pereira and Josh Harrop.
According to Opta, Demetri Mitchell, Joel Pereira and Josh Harrop are three of the 17 United players who would only play once in the Premier League for the club.
Harrop, who had come through the United youth academy, made a name for himself after he scored against Crystal Palace on his Premier League debut for the Red Devils.
The 29-year-old netted in the 15th minute before Paul Pogba found the back of the net four minutes later, with United finishing sixth in the Premier League in 2017.
