Manchester United are in another dilemma over the managerial situation.
Ineos will be thinking right now that they are in an impossible decision. Do they stick with Ruben Amorim and give him time? Or is waiting simply delaying the inevitable.
Approaching 11 months since his appointment, Amorim is yet to win back to back games in the Premier League.
If a decision to sack Amorim is taken now, next week, or later this season, United need to have a succession plan in place.

Oliver Glasner is a top candidate
Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner is one of the potential candidates to replace Ruben Amorim.
He has worked wonders with the Eagles since his appointment, and is currently in the midst of a 18-game unbeaten run that includes last season’s FA Cup Final.
Reporter Ben Jacobs is confident that despite Glasner’s Palace success, he would jump at the Manchester United job if a formal offer was made.
Jacobs told Talksport: “They’re [Palace] the only Premier League side now that hasn’t lost a game.
“And yet, my information is if Glasner was offered the Manchester United job, he would take it in a heartbeat.”
He adds that Glasner’s stance provides Ineos with confidence that there are options, should they part ways with Amorim.
“As a consequence, Manchester United will feel there are quality managers and some with Premier League experience that may be prepared to move. Let’s not forget and Andoni Iraola hasn’t signed a new deal at Bournemouth yet and is believed to have a release clause.
“Marco Silva’s contract is also understood to have a release clause too. So there are options for Manchester United, closer to home.
Why Glasner could leave, and be a fit
Oliver Glasner could be a smart move for Manchester United, as he has proven to be tactically adaptable during his career. His success as Palace has come with a three-at-the back system.
Glasner could tweak Amorim’s setup rather than completely change it, using his know-how to deliver results.
“I don’t think Glasner playing a similar system to Ruben Amorim will really put off Manchester United,” Jacobs added.
A key factor tempting Glasner would be Palace’s stance as a selling club, losing Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze in successive summers, and coming close to losing Marc Guehi on deadline day.
Guehi is expected to leave on a free transfer next summer, and there are also claims Adam Wharton has a gentleman’s agreement to leave next year too.
Glasner could join a United team that is down on it’s luck, but a club that has huge resources, and perhaps, he might be able to bring Guehi or/and Wharton with him.
