New Manchester United signing Altay Bayindir has pledged to ‘fight’ for the club, after clinching his move.

Altay Bayindir was unveiled on transfer deadline day, replacing Dean Henderson, who signed for Crystal Palace.

Bayindir becomes Manchester United’s first ever Turkish player, signing from Fenerbahce for a fee of £4.3 million.

He is training with the squad already, and is expected to be on the bench to face Arsenal at the weekend, backing up Andre Onana.

“So, we are really glad that we signed him and we are confident that he will make a lot of progress in the coming period in the coming years and he will be a huge contribution to our game.”
