Nemanja Vidic has paid tribute to Erik ten Hag and the work he has done at Manchester United so far this season.
In an interview with i News, Vidic has said that he has been impressed with the coaching work the Dutchman has done at Old Trafford.
The man who captained the club under Sir Alex Ferguson also said that Ten Hag has brought the standards back to United.
Ten Hag has United on the right track, with still plenty of work to do in terms of the construction of the squad and a more fluid, dominant style of play.

He said: “Erik ten Hag makes players better. He’s a good coach — that’s very important. He’s working on the pitch all the time with them. He’s very stable as a person.
“He was already working for a big club and it seems like his approach is that nothing comes straight away, it’s hard work. He sees the longer picture.
“Even if you lose the match or win the match, where he wants to go. He gives me confidence as an ex-Manchester United player and fan that he knows what he’s doing.”
“You can see on the pitch that they’re playing more as a team. Ten Hag has good values. That’s important. I think we lost in a certain moment that value but now I think he’s giving that back. And it feels now that they’re playing as a team.”

For the first time since Ferguson retired, it seems like United have a manager who can take the club back to where they belong.
The Dutchman has emphasised how much work there still is to do, making it clear that United are still nowhere near where he wants them to be.
That drive to raise standards is absolutely vital because while United are on the right track, there is still a long way to go.
Vidic can identify the same standards in Ten Hag that he used to drive at Old Trafford, and that is a ringing endorsement of his qualities.
