MUTV pundit raves about ‘absolutely unbelievable’ Man Utd player who gave Wigan defender ‘a proper doing’

Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho produced a glowing performance in the win over Wigan.

Wigan Athletic were once terrorised by a young Cristiano Ronaldo, who tore them to shreds in the 2006 League Cup final, and a few times in the Premier League too.

Last night a player who has been touted as the heir to Ronaldo, Alejando Garnacho, got his own chance to play against Wigan, and he made the most of his opportunity.

Garnacho did everything but score, creating chances, hitting the bar, constantly posing a threat from the right wing, which looks to be his best position.

Alejandro Garnacho praised

Alejandro Garnacho created three goalscoring chances, and was unlucky not to end the game with an assist. He was even more unfortunate to see his long range effort come back off the bar.

Garnacho was picked out as Manchester United’s star man in MUTV’s Matchday Review.

Former Red Devils ace David May told the channel he was blown away by Garnacho’s performance in the 2-0 victory.

He said: “I thought Garnacho was outstanding, absolutely unbelievable. He just needed a goal to round his game off.

“That left-back will be having nightmares tonight. He gave him a proper doing.”

Champions League winner Wes Brown added: “From the off he was very dangerous, he didn’t stop. He kept on going.”

Garnacho stars in Manchester United win

Alejandro Garnacho has been Manchester United’s most exciting attacker in recent weeks, and has demonstrated is a player capable of lifting the team to a new level.

Already an FA Youth Cup winner along with Kobbie Mainoo in 2022, Garnacho is bidding to go one better and win the FA Cup this season.

He came agonisingly close last season, with an impressive cameo in the final defeat to City at Wembley. The pain of that defeat should be enough motivation to drive Garnacho on to help United end this season on a high.
