Manchester United kept another clean sheet to defeat Aston Villa 1-0 at Old Trafford yesterday.
Bruno Fernandes‘ goal was the difference for the hosts, a first league victory over Villa in the last four attempts.
United lacked the clinical edge to build on the one goal lead, but it proved to be enough thanks to a strong defensive performance.
Victor Lindelof was key to United’s backline staying mean, and his performance was praised by MUTV pundit Dion Dublin.

Victor Lindelof performance v Aston Villa praised
Victor Lindelof has been a revelation since coming into the side on a regular basis since injuries to Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.
It shouldn’t be a surprise considering he has performed excellently when called upon this season. But it is still very impressive to see.
Former United striker Dion Dublin spoke to MUTV’s post-game coverage and talked up the Sweden international, arguing that he is improving every week.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Dublin said: “Absolutely brilliant. I don’t know what it is with Victor, the more you play him, the stronger he gets.
“He is always there, never makes it comfortable (for opponents). He’s probably why we didn’t see a lot of Villa’s attacks. He was very strong.”
Lindelof is integral to Manchester United right now, proving to be a valuable part of Erik ten Hag’s squad.
While Harry Maguire looks surplus to requirements, it is essential United keep Lindelof around next season, and potentially add another younger centre-back into the mix.
The Swede will have a vital role for the upcoming FA Cup final next month. Let’s hope he continues playing like this.
