Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford faces the prospect of being sidelined with injury after limping off against Everton.
Marcus Rashford had to be substituted late in Manchester United’s 2-0 win on Saturday, just as fitness issues at the club were beginning to clear up.
Christian Eriksen was making his comeback, while Anthony Martial came off the bench to score his first goal since February 1.
Then off trudged Rashford, limping down the sidelines, potentially derailing Manchester United’s season.

Manchester United players urged to step up
The full extent of Rashford’s injury is yet to be established. The forward has undergone scans and United supporters will learn more in the coming days.
Former United defender Wes Brown spoke to MUTV following the victory over Everton and he has called on the rest of the team to step up.
Rashford has scored 28 goals this season, with Bruno Fernandes next closest with 10 strikes to his name.
Brown said: “We just got to step up. Unfortunately this is football, injuries happen, other players have to step up and start to perform.
“Marcus has been outstanding for us all season. If it is a bad injury it is such a shame at such an important part of the season.
“If that’s the case we just have to soldier on. Keep the team spirit on the pitch.”
Erik ten Hag will no doubt be preaching a similar message to his Manchester United team. Marcus Rashford has given this team so much this season, it is time for others to step up.
The returns of Eriksen and Martial will help to offset Rashford’s absence somewhat, along with Casemiro coming back from suspension.
But what Manchester United fans really want to know is this… will our full strength side ever be available at the same time again this season?
