Manchester United won’t be back in action until Monday night this weekend, with Brentford set to visit Old Trafford in gameweek 34.
Things are looking extremely bright for Manchester United right now, with Michael Carrick’s side on the cusp of Champions League qualification.
After United beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, the results earlier this week mean just four points from five games will secure United in the top five.

But United still have to face two European football hopefuls at Old Trafford before things become comfortable. One thing is certain: Carrick will be hoping to have fewer absentees than he did last weekend.
Now, he’s shared an update on two names.
How confident are you that Manchester United will win vs Brentford?

Michael Carrick’s update on Leny Yoro and Patrick Dorgu
With the Brentford game fast approaching, Carrick has been talking to the press, previewing this game, in which he was inevitably asked about his players’ fitness.
Leny Yoro missed the Chelsea game; however, his issue was supposedly not serious, and there was a chance he could return against Brentford.
Carrick has now confirmed this.
“We’re still working on that one. There’s a possibility [for Monday] but not 100% sure.”
Next, Carrick was asked about Patrick Dorgu, who has been out since January with a hamstring injury, which suspended his breakthrough as a winger.
“Patrick is working his way to being back, making good progress, and closer to training with us.”
These are both positive updates, with Yoro presumably touch and go up until Monday. While Dorgu we will have to wait a bit longer for.
Leny Yoro is uncertain to be fit vs Brentford: Are you happy with Harry Maguire and Ayden Heaven starting the game regardless?
Harry Maguire is back from suspension
Who starts at centre-back for Manchester United vs Brentford?
Against Chelsea, Carrick had just one senior centre-back. But he could have three against Brentford.
Harry Maguire is back from suspension after serving his additional game ban, while Yoro might be in contention.
Both will be vying to start, with Ayden Heaven’s heroics against Chelsea surely guaranteeing he starts again against Brentford.
Maguire, alongside Heaven, would be the strongest pairing United can field in this game and might even be the best duo Carrick has at his disposal.
Yoro’s fitness doubt makes him easier to put on the bench than back into the starting line-up immediately.
