Micah Richards and Alan Shearer felt the same way about Matheus Cunha and three key Manchester United first-team players after the FA Cup match against Brighton.
Matheus Cunha was in the Manchester United starting XI on Sunday evening and the 26-year-old Brazilian forward saw out the full 90 minutes against Brighton.
How do you think Matheus Cunha fits in now Ruben Amorim has been sacked?
What is Cunha's best position in Manchester United's system?
The former Wolves ace was deployed in attack alongside the likes of Mason Mount and Benjamin Sesko, with the latter having the biggest impact out of the trio.
Benjamin Sesko found the back of the net for his second match running after he headed home from a Bruno Fernandes corner late in the second half of the tie.
However, Man Utd were trailing Brighton 2-0 before Sesko’s header and the Red Devils were unable to find the all-important equaliser in Sunday’s FA Cup clash.

Brighton inflicted a 2-1 defeat on Manchester United at Old Trafford and Darren Fletcher’s men crashed out of the FA Cup in the third round at the weekend.
United’s woes were further amplified in the 90th minute of the Brighton match, with teenager Shea Lacey being sent off for dissent after picking up his second booking.
Speaking on The Rest Is Football, Alan Shearer insisted that the Red Devils are lacking serious quality amid their season under Ruben Amorim and Darren Fletcher.
What is YOUR biggest reason to feel positive about Manchester United right now?
“They’re just not very good,” he said.
“I just, I don’t know what you’re [Micah Richards] laughing at, but that is the truth.
“They’re just not very good. I mean, the whole club, when you look at it, there’s so many errors and mistakes and everything else.”
Reacting to Shearer, Micah Richards asked if the Man Utd front four of Benjamin Sesko, Bruno Fernandes, Mason Mount and Benjamin Sesko did not possess quality.
“Yeah, but I’m looking at it here, not where they’ve got Mount, Fernandes, Cunha and Sesko – you’re front four,” he said.
“Like, it’s good enough, isn’t it?”

Shearer agreed with Richards that United’s front four against Brighton did have quality, but something was clearly not clicking between them in the match.
“It should be, but it isn’t, is it?” Shearer told Richards.
“It’s just not a happy place at the minute. I mean, Fletcher’s in there at the moment.
“What has he had? Burnley away and Brighton at home – and he drew one of those.
“They’ve spoken to Michael Carrick and to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer [about the Man Utd role] over the weekend, I gather, in terms of the interim, maybe till the end of the season.”
United will now return to Premier League action on Saturday and the Red Devils will host Manchester City at Old Trafford for their huge Manchester derby clash.
