Manchester United slumped to another defeat on Sunday afternoon, losing 3-0 at the hands of Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth.
Ruben Amorim must be banging his head against the wall just weeks into his reign as Manchester United boss.
United beat Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, only to then crash out of the EFL Cup with a quarter-final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Amorim wanted United to hit back against Bournemouth but this ended up being a disastrous afternoon at Old Trafford.
Dean Huijsen headed Bournemouth ahead as United conceded from yet another set piece before Justin Kluivert made it 2-0 from the penalty spot.
Antoine Semenyo added number three to hand United a thumping defeat – and a second 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth in a row.

Matthijs de Ligt on Leny Yoro
Amorim knows he faces a mammoth task at United and he will be looking for any positive right now.
Summer signing Leny Yoro has at least caught the eye since finally recovering from his pre-season injury.
Yoro joined United from Lille over the summer and hype had been building around him despite his injury lay-off.
Amorim has praised Yoro for his pace and reading of the game, with the Frenchman making an impression in the United starting lineup.
Yoro was on the bench against Bournemouth as Amorim continues to rotate his United squad and give everybody a chance.
Matthijs de Ligt has now offered major praise for Yoro whilst speaking to MUTV.
The Dutchman feels that Yoro is a ‘really great talent’ who has the attributes to be a star.
De Ligt praised Yoro’s pace and aerial ability whilst believing that he has the potential to get even better.
“Obviously I saw some footage of him,” said De LIgt.
“I think he’s a really great talent. He has a lot of tools to become a really good defender, a really good modern defender.
“He’s fast, he’s good with the ball, he’s quick, he’s tall, he’s good in headers. He’s now back from injury, so I think it’s really important for the team to have a lot of options.
“The schedule is really hectic, so we have to use everybody and it’s really nice that he’s here and hopefully I can help him with some experience that I had at his age, because I also had some experience at his age so I really want to help him become as good as possible because I think he has a lot of potential,” he added.
De Ligt experience will help Yoro
De Ligt mentioned at the end there that his own experience can be passed down to Yoro.
The Dutch centre back broke through at Ajax and became the youngest player ever to play in a major European final – ironically against United – at the age of just 17 years and 285 days.
De Ligt even became Ajax’s youngest ever captain at 18, so he knows all about the pressure of being a young centre back in a top club.
Yoro at least played 60 first-team games for Lille before joining United, so the 19-year-old isn’t a complete novice.
The early signs are promising but if the teenager needs somebody who understands the pressure he is facing, De Ligt will be right there.
