Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has been ruled out of two upcoming matches.
The club have announced Mason Mount is dealing with a minor injury and will be out until the international break.
This means Mason Mount will miss upcoming games against Nottingham Forest this weekend and away to Arsenal.
Mount was United’s first signing of the summer, signing in a £55 million move from Chelsea.

Mount injury not surprising
It is not altogether surprising that Mason Mount has suffered an injury. He struggled with injuries in the second half of last season at Chelsea, and his first start for Manchester United was his first in the Premier League since February.
It is not uncommon for players to suffer setbacks as they re-adjust to the intensity of top flight football.
Mount had played regularly for United in pre-season, but the Premier League is another matter altogether. He had started both of United’s opening two games.

Mount injury can help United reset
It sounds harsh, but this might actually be good news for Manchester United and Mason Mount in the short term.
Manchester United’s midfield has not looked good, with Erik ten Hag’s tactics of playing Mount alongside Bruno Fernandes leaving Casemiro over-exposed.
With no striker to hold the ball up, the high-risk approach just wasn’t working, and Mount was coming in for early criticism.
This takes him out of the firing line, and allows United to reset a little. Christian Eriksen is expected to take his place in the side.
