Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has been unveiled at La Liga side Getafe.
Spanish side Getafe have unveiled new loan signing Mason Greenwood following his transfer deadline day move.
New start for Mason Greenwood
Manchester United announced last month that Mason Greenwood will not recommence his career at the club after a public outcry.
Greenwood remains under contract to 2025, and Manchester United decided to loan him in the final hours of deadline day.
A club statement read: βThe move enables Greenwood to begin to rebuild his career away from Manchester United.
βThe club will continue to offer its support to Mason and his family during this period of transition.β

Spanish side Getafe are embracing the Greenwood move and pointing to the fact the striker has not been found guilty of any offence.

He has been given the number 12 shirt at Getafe. There is a break clause in the deal in January if they wish to cancel the deal.
The Athletic report Manchester United will pay around Β£50,000 per week of Greenwoodβs Β£75,000 per week wages, during his loan.
Greenwood has not played a match since January 2022, prior to his arrest.
United have moved on from Greenwood, finally re-assigning his number 11 shirt, giving it to new signing Rasmus Hojlund.
