Manchester United are getting “better and better” under the tutelage of Erik ten Hag, says Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard.
The Red Devils, who currently sit third in the table, travel to The Emirates tomorrow to take on Mikel Arteta’s who sit top of the Premier League table and are eight points ahead of United.
United beat Arsenal 3-1 at Old Trafford back in September and that’s the only game the north Londoners have lost in the league so far this season.
Although United were denied a tenth consecutive win across all competitions following Michael Olise’s injury time free-kick, which saw the Reds held to a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Wednesday, Ten Hag’s men have lost just one of their last 20 games.
Martin Odegaard gives his verdict on the challenge Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United pose to Arsenal

Ahead of United’s trip to the capital to face the league leaders, Odegaard has praised Ten Hag for the job he’s doing at the Theatre of Dreams and praised the style of football he’s instilled throughout his managerial career.
Speaking via Arsenal’s club website, the 24-year-old said: “Manchester United are obviously playing very well. I’ve watched them a lot lately and they look to me to be getting better and better this season.
“Their coach is a good one who I know from his time in Holland with Ajax, and his sides always play good football.”
Odegaard has tasted defeat in all four of his matches against sides managed by Ten Hag (Ajax and Manchester United).
Arsenal’s number eight has been in fine form this season and the 47-time Norway international will carry a huge threat to Ten Hag’s side.
The former Real Madrid man has eight goals and five assists from 17 Premier League appearances so far this season.
Only Ivan Toney (16), Harry Kane, (16) and Odegaard’s compatriot Erling Haaland (25) have been directly involved in more goals in the Premier League than Arsenal’s playmaker (13).
Odegaard will likely come up against his former Los Blancos teammate Raphael Varane once again, but he won’t come up against Casemiro who is suspended for the trip to The Emirates.
