Marouane Fellani said his goodbyes to Manchester United earlier this month, departing for China.
He has revealed today that he could have left last summer to join Paris Saint-Germain.
Fellaini told Telefoot “Could I have signed for PSG last summer? Yes.
“Would I have liked to play for PSG? Yes.”

Fellaini chose to renew his contract at United and was likely persuaded to do so by Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho lasted until December before being sacked with United in sixth position in the Premier League.

For the best

Fellaini may be gone, but he did play a crucial role for United in the first half of the season.
His late winner against Young Boys helped secure Champions League qualification to the knockout rounds.
He also played a key role in the winner against Juventus away from home after coming off the bench.
It’s for the best that he won’t be lining up against United with PSG this week.
