Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford promises to return from injury as soon as possible.
An update emerged on Marcus Rashford‘s fitness earlier today. It was mixed news.
Seeing him limp off against Everton in the Premier League win at the weekend, everybody who saw it realised that this would be a complication for his and Manchester United’s season.
It was inevitable he would miss time. It was just a question of how much.
United’s statement read that Rashford will miss ‘a number of games’ but will return. Erik ten Hag clarified at his press conference that he was reluctant to put a timeframe on it.

Rashford positive about injury
Marcus Rashford is eyeing an early return to action. He is doing everything possible to be back playing again shortly.
He wrote tonight on Twitter: “I’m working hard with the physio to get back asap! See you soon.”
Ten Hag explained that Rashford was feeling upbeat, knowing that he is not ruled out for the season.
He added that the top scorer has already commenced recovery work.
He said: “He is optimistic and he has started straight on his recovery and his rehab. That helps him to get back soon.”
“It’s a few games I can’t give more details because we have to see how the injury develops.”
One date Rashford will have in mind is the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on April 23. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him make the squad.
Like every other supporter, I just hope Rashford does not rush back too soon, to the detriment of himself and the team.
It’s up to the players to step up in his absence, and decrease the pressure on Rashford, so he can be fully fit when he makes his return.
