Marcus Rashford has responded to speculation his Manchester United future is in doubt with a furious message.
Marcus Rashford wasn’t in the Manchester United squad as they faced Fulham at Craven Cottage over the weekend.
According to the club’s website, Rashford travelled with the rest of the team but the Mancunian forward was not involved in west London, due to injury.
This has led to potential speculation this could be false – but the England forward has quickly ended any doubt with one message.
Rashford sends furious message
The United Stand, a popular fan-cam channel for Manchester United, took to X today, with a preview of their latest stream on YouTube, which had the caption, ‘Rashford’s future in doubt?’.
The 26-year-old responded quickly to this, evidently frustrated, with the following message:
‘Please STOP spreading malicious rumours.’
Rashford soon put that to bed.
Rashford undeserving of this
This is poor from The United Stand. Yes, Rashford may be struggling on the pitch this season, but not once has it ever come across anyone’s mind that his United future is in doubt.
He evidently loves the club, and recently signed a new deal. Erik ten Hag also stated it was an injury following Saturday’s game at Craven Cottage.
In his pre-match interview with TNT Sports, Ten Hag said: “He was travelling with us but he didn’t make it. He was tested this morning but [his leg] wasn’t good enough. He’s not fit.”
Then came reports from the Mirror that he didn’t attend the team meal after the game, which further insinuated doubts over his relationship with the club.
Hopefully, this Tweet is a step to putting it all to bed. Judge him on the pitch, but his loyalty to the club shouldn’t be questioned.
