Rashford returns to training and looks ‘quite fit’ according to Erik ten Hag

Speaking in his press conference at 12:30 pm today, Erik ten Hag gave the following update when asked about whether Rashford is fit ahead of the Chelsea clash:

“It looks like. Yesterday, he returned to training, he looks quite fit but we have to see today what is the outcome of the training, how did we recover and then we will make our choices.”

Really positive news that Rashford is back in training. There is no concrete answer from the gaffer that he makes the starting XI for the fixture. However, this is positive news as he certainly could be included in the matchday squad.

Even if he doesn’t feature against Chelsea, Rashford could be in contention to start the final game of the season on Sunday. United head to Old Trafford for the final time this campaign to take on Fulham.

The Red Devils need just a point in their last two fixtures to secure Champions League qualification. Rashford could have a big part to play in these final two league games.
