Marcus Rashford has congratulated Manchester United loanee Alex Telles after the Brazilian won his first home game with Sevilla.
The La Liga side beat Danish outfit FC Copenhagen 3-0 on Tuesday night at The Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium to clinch their first win in the Champions League.
With Borussia Dortmund on the cusp of joining Manchester City in qualifying for the last-16 from Group G, Sevilla is guaranteed of their spot in the Europa League where they will likely join Telles’ parent club.

Since Argentinian manager Jorge Sampaoli replaced Julen Lopetegui, at the start of the month, Telles has started five of the six games the former Marseille manager has took charge of.
The 29-year-old will be hoping that his run in the Sevilla starting line-up is enough to earn a place in Brazil’s World Cup squad, but that decision will come down to Selecao boss Tite.
The eight-time Brazil international started both of the South American’s friendlies last month, and he’ll be hoping to join Manchester United trio Fred, Casemiro and Antony in securing a spot on the plane to Qatar.

Since joining Sevilla on a season-long loan, the former Porto man has made 15 appearances, nine of which have been starts, and he’s provided two assists.
Sevilla’s number three was keen to go out on loan and secure first team football to bolster his chances of featuring in a World Cup for the first time.
Following the summer arrival of Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord, Telles was bumped down the left-back pecking order and during United’s Tour 2022, the Brazilian filled in at centre-back and defensive midfield.
Following Sevilla’s first home win at their eighth attempt this season, Telles’ Instagram post translates: “We don’t stop! Great game and great job! We continue.”
Sevilla teammates Marcao and Papu Gomez reacted to his post, as did Rashford who replied with a fire emoji.
Telles might not be at Carrington, but Rashford was seemingly impressed with what he saw from United’s number 27 on Tuesday night.
