Manchester United travel to London for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage.
The aim is to bounce back to winning ways after Manchester United suffered a 1-0 defeat against Arsenal on the opening weekend of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
Fulham stand in United’s way following a 1-1 draw with Brighton last weekend, but United have won each of their previous eight Premier League away games at Craven Cottage.
Ruben Amorim was happy with his team’s performance against Arsenal, despite losing 1-0, and he hopes that United can come away with three points as well as build on their recent display against the Gunners.
Fulham are one of the few teams United managed to do the Premier League double over last season, which is why Marco Silva has issued a warning to his players ahead of the game.

Marco Silva warns Fulham players about Benjamin Sesko
The aim for United this weekend is to bounce back to winning ways in the capital.
It bodes well that United beat Fulham 1-0 on two occasions in the Premier League last season, with Joshua Zirkzee and Lisandro Martinez scoring the goals to win both games.
In terms of injuries, United will be without two players as Noussair Mazraoui and Lisandro Martinez continue their recovery at Carrington.
However, Fulham manager Silva is aware of the talent available to Amorim this weekend.
After spending over £200 million on new signings this summer, Silva expects a demanding game against a United side that signed one of Europe’s most wanted strikers in Benjamin Sesko.
Sesko is set to start his first game for United after making his debut off the bench against Arsenal. He is likely to be joined by fellow new signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
“We are playing against a great side,” Silva told reporters on Friday at his press conference.
“I know last season is not the way they wanted. This season, they have spent heavily in the market and signed a striker that all in the market were looking for in Europe.
“For us, it is very important and it is going to be a very demanding Premier League.”
