Manchester United welcome Fulham to Old Trafford this weekend and ahead of the game, Marco Silva has praised one star.
Erik ten Hag will look to make it five consecutive Premier League wins this weekend against Fulham at Old Trafford.
Last week’s 2-1 win against Luton was far too close for comfort with the Hatters troubling the Manchester United defence severely in the second half.
But while the defence still struggles to become consistent, there’s one man who’s been unstoppable since the start of 2024.
Rasmus Hojlund has scored in six consecutive Premier League games, stretching back to December 27th against Aston Villa.
Now, he’s been talked up by the Fulham boss Marco Silva who’s admitted his team may struggle to contain the red-hot Dane.

Marco Silva raves over Rasmus Hojlund
Ahead of his side’s trip to Old Trafford, Fulham manager Marco Silva has admitted he’s concerned about facing one player in particular, as quoted by the MEN.
“You can see the talent and the quality,” Silva admitted before Saturday’s game.
“Since he arrived you can see that he’s a young striker and young players need time to adapt and understand the ideas. When they start to score they become more confident and I can see this in Hojlund.
“He is a really strong player when he attacks in behind and it’s clear for me that he has the capacity to have a very good run while he is at Manchester United. Let’s hope we can block and defend him well because he’s a good player.”
The fact that Hojlund is now being picked out weekly as United’s dangerman – Rob Edwards last week post game did just that – is a nice feeling after such a slow start which saw him targeted by the media.
Manchester United could use a comfortable win against Fulham
When looking at the league table this week, it’s been quite surreal to see United holding a positive goal difference.
At plus one, United do however, still have a goal difference which looks out of place in competition with Spurs and Aston Villa.
So given this game is at home and United are on fire offensively, not to mention the Cottager’s poor away record, it should be a win.
United should use this opportunity to win comfortably and put in a good display from the first minute to the 90th – which has been lacking lately.
All we know is that whatever good happens, Hojlund will be at the centre of it.
