The vibes are good again at Manchester United after a comeback victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, which provided optimism for Ruben Amorim and his team.
The noise surrounding the game in the buildup was deafening, given added gas by Ruben Amorim dropping Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho from the squad altogether.
It was a bold call under the brightest lights which could have been questioned incessantly had the team not responded in the right way.
Instead, it turned into an emphatic statement of intent by the manager on his non-negotiables, and the two new arrivals, Manuel Ugarte and Leny Yoro personified the spirit the Man Utd manager is cultivating at Old Trafford.

Leny Yoro reacts to Man Utd’s win vs Man City
While the rest of the team has generally been suffering this season, it must have been extra frustrating for Leny Yoro that he hadn’t been able to help.
The Frenchman never even got to play under the manager who signed him but that is perhaps for the best, because Amorim has handled him perfectly so far.
Yoro impressed on his debut and since then, he’s been given consistent minutes to ramp up his fitness while also not overexposing him.
He came on vs City in the 78th minute so he was on the pitch when United scripted their memorable comeback, a memory he’ll relish for a long time.
After the game, Yoro posted on Instagram a message that will instantly endear him to his new fanbase, writing: “MANCHESTER is RED”, along with the hashtag “GodDid”.
Kobbie Mainoo echoed the hashtag while Bruno Fernandes responded with “My guy”, along with a raised hand emoji. Youngsters Toby Collyer and Jack Fletcher also gave him props.
Manuel Ugarte echoes Yoro’s message, Lisandro Martinez calls him ‘crazy’
The new signings already seem to have settled into the rhythm and flavour of Manchester United and that was on clear display after the game.
Manuel Ugarte posted just four words which read: “Manchester RED. All Together”, and the responses from Bruno Fernandes and Lisandro Martinez were box-office.
Lisandro Martinez replied in Spanish, writing, “Estas loquito”, meaning “You’re crazy”, while Fernandes waxed lyrical about the Uruguayan’s endless stamina.
Fernandes said: “Wowwww, have you stop running or not yet?”, perhaps echoing the sentiments of every Man Utd fan in awe of the Uruguayan’s work rate.
Ugarte was widely expected to be a big beneficiary of Amorim’s arrival, having played under him at Sporting and that has turned out to be the case.
Ugarte’s brilliant performance vs City continues an upward trend for the player who was facing questions under Erik ten Hag but has become another success story with the change in manager.
United fans won’t mind the “crazy” version of the midfielder if that leads to him putting up displays like this!
