Manchester United lost 3-2 to Galatasaray in yet another defeat at Old Trafford.
That result was really worrying. It was a second successive defeat in the Champions League, and a fifth in seven games.
There were some positive attacking moments from United, but it wasn’t enough. Mistakes and a lack of concentration saw the team lose 3-2.
It was not a good night, with mistakes costing the team. Here is a look at the team’s four worst players on the night.

Andre Onana
Only one place to start. Andre Onana was like an invisible man in goal for all three of Galatasaray’s goals, poorly positioned and getting nowhere near any of them.
A woeful pass to Dries Mertens led to Casemiro conceding a penalty and getting sent off, and 10 man United folded.
Onana looks nervous, swallowed up by the pressure at Manchester United. It has been a catalogue of errors ever since he joined, and he has cost the team in both Champions League games.
A good goalkeeper transmits confidence to the best of the team, and one who is not in form, makes the entire defence nervous. Onana is the latter, and it might be time to take him out of the side.
Diogo Dalot
Right-back Diogo Dalot is the team’s only fit full-back so we don’t want to be too critical, but this was not a good performance.
He was at fault for Galatasaray’s first goal, misjudging a long ball and shrugged off easily by Wilfried Zaha, and he then went onto pick up a needless booking later in the first half.
Dalot is not the impact making marauding right-back Manchester United need right now. Nor is he super-solid defensively. Instead he is caught in the middle, and doesn’t offer enough, other than simply being available.
Sofyan Amrabat
He’s only just got here, so we don’t want to be too harsh, but can the Sofyan Amrabat experiment at left-back end now?
The Moroccan was signed to play in midfield. An injury crisis has forced him to fill in at left-back. While his willingness to adapt shows a positive attitude, at a Champions League level, he was exposed.
United could have played an actual defender there. Lindelof or Evans, and used Amrabat where he is supposed to be, in midfield.
Bruno Fernandes
Manchester United’s captain was poor, extremely wasteful in this game. Bruno Fernandes had a chance in the opening couple of minutes and sliced it way off target. It was a woeful effort.
He had five attempts at goal in total, and never looked like scoring. Only one was on target, which was shot straight at the goalkeeper.
This was a night where United desperately needed Fernandes to step up. Right now, like so many players in this team, it just isn’t happening for him.
