Manchester United have a squad of 25 players to choose from ahead of the Carabao Cup tie against Burnley, according to the club’s official website.
However, some are fitter than others. The 25 player squad list includes several returning World Cup stars.
United take on Burnley at Old Trafford at 8pm on Wednesday night (21/12).
Erik ten Hag’s side are playing the first game since the World Cup break, against the Championship leaders.

Manchester United’s 25-man squad ahead of Carabao Cup tie
Here is a list of the 25 players involved at Carrington on Tuesday.
Goalkeepers: De Gea, Dubravka, Bishop, Heaton, Vitek
Defenders: Maguire, Shaw, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Williams, Malacia, Bennett
Midfielders: Van de Beek, Iqbal, Eriksen, McTominay, Fred, Casemiro, Fernandes
Forwards: Martial, Elanga, Pellistri, Rashford, Garnacho, Antony
A 26th player also trained individually, Diogo Dalot. He is recovering from an injury sustained with Portugal.
The rest of the players are available for selection, although United would rather use as few World Cup players as possible, given that they have just had a couple of days back at Carrington to train.
The exceptions are Christian Eriksen and Facundo Pellistri who returned last week, after their sides were eliminated in the group stages. Pellistri is yet to make his United debut.
Harry Maguire could also start at centre-back due to a shortage of other options. Youngster Rhys Bennett has an outside chance.
There are various selection decisions for Ten Hag to make. Our predicted line-up will be released tomorrow morning.
