Manchester United youngster Kobbie Mainoo is a player who everybody at the club has very high hopes for.
Mainoo, 17, has already been part of a Premier League squad under Erik ten Hag and featured in the friendly against Cadiz in midweek.
The midfielder scored United’s second goal in the 4-2 defeat, equalising the tie before the youngsters were eventually undone.
Mainoo received praise after the game, with MUTV pundits hailing him as an ‘immense talent’.

The admiration for Mainoo extended to his teammates, some of who were with him in Spain, others still in the academy back in Manchester.
He posted a message on Instagram expressing his delight at getting some competitive minutes under his belt.
The responses to Mainoo’s message flooded in, with players hailing his performance and showing their admiration.
Among them was his FA Youth Cup winning teammate Alejandro Garnacho, who already has two first team goals to his name.


Mainoo certainly did enough to warrant further minutes in United’s second friendly match against Real Betis this Saturday.
If he seizes his opportunity then Mainoo could put himself into contention for the squad against Burnley in the Carabao Cup on December 21. Another goal would certainly help his cause.
