Alejandro Garnacho’s rise to prominence shows no signs of slowing and the youngster has been pictured training alongside his idol Lionel Messi.
The Manchester United academy star was a surprise inclusion in Lionel Scaloni’s Argentina squad for this month’s World Cup qualifiers.
The 17-year-old is being tipped to make his senior international debut either when Argentina face Venezuela tomorrow night or against Ecuador on Wednesday.
Argentine news outlet TN Deportivo report ‘it is very likely’ that the former Atletico Madrid youngster will make his debut.

Due to his dual citizenship for Argentina and Spain, the teenager who has previously represent Spain at under-18s level is eligible to represent either nation.
But it seems Scaloni’s side have stole a march on Luis Enrique’s Spaniards and are keen to tie down the talented youngster with the South American nation.
It’s been a remarkable rise for Garnacho and it must have been very surreal for the pacey forward to train alongside Paris Saint Germain star Messi.
Posting on Instagram, Garnacho, who was pictured alongside the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, wrote: “Dreams really do come true. Idol.”
Garnacho, who has 11 goals and six assists from 28 matches the Manchester United academy sides this season, also shared a photo of him staring at Messi during training.

Clearly star struck, the youngster is in the enviable position of learning from Cristiano Ronaldo at United and Messi at international level – it’s not bad company to be in.
Having the opportunity to learn from two of the greatest players of all time can only enhance what has already been a staggering rise to prominence for Alejandro Garnacho.
