Manchester United will need to be disciplined when they take on Leicester City in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday night.
Ruben Amorim’s side will hope to bounce back from another disappointing defeat to Crystal Palace. It has been a stop-start season for the Reds who remain in contention for two pieces of silverware: FA Cup and Europa League.
With that, it’s worth noting that our form in the Premier League is in desperate need of improvement as United sit in the bottom half of the table.
It bodes well that United have already beaten Leicester City on two occasions this season.
United secured their place in the fourth round after a penalty shootout win over Arsenal last month, while Leicester knocked out QPR in the last round.
The tie will see Ruud van Nistelrooy return to Old Trafford after departing as a coach earlier this season.

Manchester United trio risk suspension
United will be walking a disciplinary tightrope when they take on Leicester in the FA Cup.
Harry Maguire, Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes ought to be careful after being booked in the previous round.
Another booking for the trio would see them serve a one-match suspension – potentially ruling them out of a fifth round tie.
According to FA Cup rules, any player who entered the competition at the third round stage will serve a one-match ban if they are awarded two yellow cards before the quarter-final stage.
Lisandro Martinez would be in the same boat had he not been ruled out through injury.
In United’s win over Arsenal, Diogo Dalot was sent off for two bookable offences, but served his one-match suspension in the Premier League.
Manchester United are a cup team
Like we proved last season, after beating Manchester City in the FA Cup final, United are a cup team.
The Reds don’t have enough consistency to push for strong league campaigns just yet.
That also explains how Erik ten Hag won two trophies during his time at United.
The two trophies weren’t enough to save his job when Ineos decided to sack him earlier this season.
