Manchester United ‘serious’ about Kim Min-Jae
What’s the story? Manchester United are ‘serious’ about signing Kim Min-Jae next summer, report Tuttomercatoweb.
His current club Napoli are now set to hold talks this week to attempt to increase his release clause of £38 million.
Verdict: This remains one to watch for 2023, but only if Napoli’s efforts to hike or remove his release clause entirely are unsuccessful.
As they have shown with Victor Osimhen and in the past, Kalidou Koulibaly, Napoli would demand around £80 million from United, which would just be too much.
Still, it’s intriguing to see United cast their eye over potential centre-backs for next summer. At present there are bigger priorities.

Atletico looking at Joao Felix replacements
What’s the story? Atletico Madrid are looking at players to replace Joao Felix, reports AS.
One of these options includes Marcus Thuram, a player linked to United by SportBild.
Verdict: It really does appear that Joao Felix is going to be leaving Atletico Madrid this month.
The Times reports Manchester United are currently unwilling to meet Atletico’s demands for a loan fee of £8 million plus his wages.
Felix is available for United to sign, but whether the club consider this to be good value on a short-term deal remains to be seen.
United’s hesitancy could well end up with another more proactive club taking the gamble and landing Felix instead.
