Manchester United defender Luke Shaw could not complete the first half against Luton and had to be substituted.
Luke Shaw had to be substituted a week ago at half-time against Aston Villa after suffering an injury.
Shaw did not train all week and Erik ten Hag expressed doubts over whether he would make the game against Luton.
But nonetheless, Shaw did start against Luton. He was booked midway through the first half, and he was substituted just before half-time, heading straight down the tunnel.

Another Luke Shaw injury
Luke Shaw has already had two spells out with injury this season. Last week, Erik ten Hag said the substitution was a precaution, but this week’s looked more substantial, with the defender unable to see out the first half and hang on for the final few minutes.
Shaw’s latest setback was discussed on MUTV, with pundit Danny Webber explaining he now recommends the defender take his time before returning to the team.
Webber said: “Sometimes you have injuries in training you don’t feel it because the intensity isn’t as high. There’s something niggling there.
“His body is letting him down. He has to take five minutes now, take some rest, get your rehab done correctly.”
He did add that he felt Victor Lindelof coped well when he came on in his place, commenting: “Lindelof was solid, he stopped Ogbene coming down the outside.”
Luke Shaw fitness record
Luke Shaw’s career at Manchester United has been hampered by fitness injuries, beginning with a horrific injury he sustained back in 2015.
This season he has made only 12 Premier League appearances, all starts, a big backwards step on the 31 appearances he made last season.
Just twice in 10 years he has made 30 Premier League starts or more for Manchester United. In one other season he made 29.
He has made 20 or more league starts just four times in those 10 seasons, a poor record, and he may struggle now to hit that figure this season.
