Manchester United have made more moves to recall players from loan spells.
Loan deals are tough to get right. Once a player leaves Manchester United, the club has no control over their playing time, or their role.
We have seen over the years how manager sackings can derail promising moves, along with usual obstacles like injuries, and simply adjusting to a change in circumstances off the pitch.
Toby Collyer has already been recalled from his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion, after his stint was interrupted by injury.
Now as United re-assess the situations of all 17 players sent out on loan, a decision has been made over two more.

Elyh Harrison
Manchester United have recalled promising young goalkeeper Elyh Harrison from his loan spell at League One side Shrewsbury Town.
It was the second loan spell of Harrison’s career, following a stint at National League side Chester last season.
Harrison played eight games in total, keeping one clean sheet. After beginning the season in goal he fell out of favour, and has not featured since September.
United’s decision to recall the England youth international is smart, and it is expected they will now try again, to find Harrison a club where he will be able to play.

Sonny Aljofree
Young centre-back Sonny Aljofree has been recalled from a stint on loan at Notts County.
Aljofree played 11 games for the League Two side, scoring one goal.
His last appearance also came in September, and there have been times he has not made the matchday squad.
Aljofree, 21, played 27 times on loan at Accrington last year, and another loan move or permanent exit is likely.
Habeeb Ogunneye
According to BBC Sport, Manchester United are reviewing the situation of right-back Habeeb Ogunneye.
Ogunneye has been playing for Newport County, who are stuck at the bottom of League Two. He has played 21 times in total, scoring once.
His last appearance came at the start of December, and United are re-assessing whether to recall the 20-year-old or not.
