Manchester United have released pictures of Erik ten Hag‘s latest training session at Carrington ahead of their Premier League opener.
The Red Devils welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Old Trafford on Sunday in a game which kicks off at 2pm.

The Seagulls beat Ralf Rangnick’s Reds 4-0 at the Amex Stadium in our penultimate game of a miserable 2021-22 campaign.
Ten Hag will be hoping to get off to the perfect start in the Premier League and United’s squad will be looking to set the record straight after being embarrassed by Graham Potter’s side in May.

Manchester United pictured training ahead of Premier League opener

Cristiano Ronaldo was part of the group that was pictured training at Carrington ahead of the first game of the new season.
The photos released by the club were the first training images since Sunday’s 1-1 draw against La Liga side Rayo Vallecano.

The players would have been training all week but it’s the first time Ronaldo has been pictured on the training ground following his early exit against Vallecano which didn’t go down well with the former Ajax boss.
The 37-year-old was pictured leaving the Theatre of Dreams early alongside Diogo Dalot who wasn’t part of the squad that featured in our last pre-season friendly.

But the United players who did leave the stadium early got a public dressing down by the 52-year-old.
Speaking to Dutch outlet Viaplay, reported by AD.nl, Ten Hag said: “I certainly don’t condone this. This is unacceptable. For everyone.
“We are a team and you have to stay until the end.”

United’s number seven is unlikely to start against Brighton having only had 45 minutes of pre-season action. With Ten Hag able to call upon five substitutes, the 37-year-old could come off the bench with Anthony Martial likely to be leading the line.

New signings Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez will all be hoping to make their competitive debuts for Manchester United.
