Defending champions

The Carabao Cup has particular importance to Manchester United this year as Erik ten Hag’s side are the defending champions.

United beat Newcastle 2-0 at Wembley earlier this year, with Ten Hag winning silverware in his first season with the club.

Elsewhere, Tottenham are already out of the competition after losing to Fulham last night.

Notable ties in the draw sees Arsenal away at Brentford, while Newcastle host Manchester City, with Chelsea hosting Brighton. Liverpool are at home to Leicester.
