Manchester United are approaching the end of their warm weather trip to Dubai ahead of the biggest challenge of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s caretaker reign so far – the trip to face Tottenham on Sunday.

Big-money Skriniar bid tabled?

According to Italian outlet TMW, United have tabled a £54m bid for Inter Milan central defender Milan Skriniar, who was a target during Jose Mourinho’s time in charge.
But ESPN report that United have gone cold on another Mourinho central defensive target, Nikola Milenkovic of Fiorentina, since the Portuguese was dismissed.
And Il Matino, via TalkSport, report that United face stiff competition for another Serie A defender, in the shape of Kalidou Koulibaly, with Real Madrid now in the picture.

Contrasting fortunes for academy products

The Star report that Solskjaer has told Marcus Rashford that he is now the club’s first choice centre forward following his form of late, usurping Romelu Lukaku as the main man.
Fellow academy graduate Timothy Fosu-Mensah wants to end his loan spell with Fulham early in order to move elsewhere,
according to the Times. 
Meanwhile, Josh Bohui could be the next young striker off the rank at Old Trafford, but is set to reject a new contract and move elsewhere, according to the Daily Mirror.
