Manchester United news and transfer roundup: Fellaini, Fosu-Mensah and more

Manchester United made it six wins in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first six matches with a hugely impressive 1-0 win over Tottenham yesterday.
The caretaker manager passed the biggest test of his reign so far and landed a major blow in the race to beat Mauricio Pochettino to be the new long-term occupant of the Old Trafford hotseat.
But the news cycle has not stopped turning ahead of United’s next match, against Brighton, and we’ve made sure you haven’t missed anything on a Monday you spent celebrating that win at Wembley…

Marouane Fellaini was flavour of the month under Jose Mourinho but has barely featured under Solskjaer, not even making the bench yesterday.
Nieuwsblad – from his native Belgium – claim that three clubs are interested in signing Fellaini this month; Italian giants AC Milan, Portuguese outfit Porto and Chinese Super League club Guangzhou Evergrande.
And the Star
report that Fellaini’s attitude has not impressed Solskjaer at all since he took over, further heightening the chances he will be allowed to leave this month.
Elsewhere, the Mirror report that AC’s bitter rivals Inter have priced United out of a bid for central defender Milan Skriniar.

Meanwhile, the Sun report that United want Timothy Fosu-Mensah to remain on loan at struggling Fulham until the end of the season, but they want him gone to bring in more fresh faces.
The same paper also report that United are ready to battle yesterday’s opponents Tottenham for David Brooks, as Bournemouth move to renew his contract to ward off potential suitors.
