The Daily Record report that it would cost United a staggering £24m to sack Mourinho now, which would drop to £18m if he fails to guide us into the top four this season.
That perhaps explains the fact that the Portuguese is not in any immediate danger of losing his job,
as per the Daily Mirror.
Mourinho is not short on headaches right now, but at least one issue has been removed as the FA have finally dismissed the charge against him for swearing during the 3-2 win over Newcastle, as per the BBC.

Today’s Champions League draw saw United pitted against the might of Paris Saint Germain; they will host the French champions on February 12, before the return leg at Parc des Princes on March 6.
Meanwhile, United have triggered the one-year extension clause in Anthony Martial’s contract, which will keep him at the club until 2020, as per the Daily Mail.
