Manchester United loanees Ethan Laird and Alvaro Fernandez have been praised by teammates from loan sides Queens Park Rangers and Preston North End.
The attack-minded full-backs have impressed for their loan sides since making their season-long loan switches to two of the Championship’s high-flying teams.
From ten starts for Michael Beale’s QPR, Laird has one goal and two assists to his name.

The 21-year-old, who featured under Erik ten Hag during pre-season, spent last season on loan in the second tier of English football with spells at Swansea City and Bournemouth.
While for former Real Madrid youngster Fernandez, the Spaniard’s loan move to Deepdale is his first experience away from the Red Devils.
The 19-year-old has four assists from ten appearances for Ryan Lowe’s Lilywhites.
Ethan Laird and Alvaro Fernandez praised by teammates
Laird, who has started the last ten Championship matches, went off with a hamstring problem in Friday night’s 2-1 win against Reading.
But QPR’s number 27 posted on social media after the win that he hoped to be back in action sooner rather than later.
Nevertheless, QPR goalkeeper Semi Dieng has sung Laird’s praises and has been impressed with his performances in recent weeks.
Speaking to the club’s website, Dieng said: “Ethan has been outstanding in the last few games.”
One man who is relishing playing alongside Fernandez is Preston’s chief marksman Emil Riis.

The Spain Under-19 international has provided the assists for two of the Dane’s last three goals.
Preston’s number 19 has spoken in glowing terms about how he enjoys playing with Fernandez.
Speaking to the Lancashire Evening Post, Riis said: “He’s got a good vision for the play, so I always expect him to put a good ball in. He’s been doing that two games in a row now. I like to play with him.”
Riis and Fernandez will be hoping to link up for the third consecutive game when Preston travel to Bristol City tomorrow night.
