Manchester United have held talks with representatives of Austrian striker Sasa Kalajdzic, reports Sky Germany.
Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg reports Kalajdzic is a candidate for United, and the striker finds a move to the Red Devils to be ‘very interesting’.

Who is Sasa Kalajdzic
1) Kalajdzic, 25, plays for Bundesliga side Stuttgart. He missed most of last season with a shoulder injury, netting six goals in 15 games.
2) Kalajdzic scored 17 goals in the 2020/21 season in 36 games in all competitions.
3) The striker’s height causes problems for opponents. He stands tall at 6 ft 7″.
4) Kalajdzic has four international goals for Austria, including an extra-time goal against Italy at Euro 2020.
5) His contract with Stuttgart runs out in 2023, making this the ideal time to sign him.

Kalajdzic an interesting Ronaldo back-up
Kalajdzic is the type of ‘plan B’ striker Manchester United have lacked in recent seasons who could help to turn tight games.
His height instantly causes problems for opponents, and Erik ten Hag could make good use of him. His main striker at Ajax was 6 ft 3″ forward Sebastien Haller.
German newspaper BILD reported last month that Stuttgart wanted 25 million Euros (£21m) for Kalajdzic this summer.
Whether Cristiano Ronaldo stays or goes, United need options up front, and Kalajdzic is a player who could become a useful option. At this early stage in talks, he is a player to keep an eye on.
