Manchester United are planning for this weekend’s FA Cup final without Anthony Martial.
The club announced via a statement last night that Anthony Martial has torn a muscle and has already been ruled out of the Wembley showdown.
Martial has been unreliable throughout the 2022/23 season and this latest injury sums up his campaign.
It is the second final he has missed, having sat out the Carabao Cup victory over Newcastle.

The reaction to Anthony Martial’s injury was a mixture of fury and frustration. Martial was a player the fanbase have had high hopes for since he signed in 2015.
There have been highs along the way, along with lows, but he surely now has reached the end of the road.
Martial was lucky to get a chance this season after a poor loan at Sevilla. Erik ten Hag took an early liking to him in pre-season, before he suffered an injury before the Premier League campaign kicked off.
In that respect, Martial’s season is finishing as it started, in the treatment room.
He has scored only nine goals over the course of the season.
The club are being linked with a succession of strikers in the transfer market and Martial surely has no future at the Old Trafford.
The only problem will be finding a club who want to buy him. Perhaps the solution is to get tough and simply pay up his contract and move on…
