Manchester United were well defeated by Newcastle United as fans begin to sense the end could be near for Erik ten Hag.
A second home thrashing and an exit from the only realistic chance of any success this season has left fans furious and expecting the worst. A 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford two games in a row simply isn’t acceptable.
Manchester United looked completely devoid of any plan, care or effort with the Geordies completely dominating besides a 20-minute spell in the second half.
An extremely worrying result which follows an equally worrying one, somehow United managed to outdo themselves with an even more disappointing result.
After the game, United fans all took to social media to voice their views on the result, none of which were good for Erik ten Hag.

Fans on Erik ten Hag
After the loss, fans have taken to X to voice their displeasure with many suggesting the end could be near for Ten Hag.
One fan account wrote: “A pathetic lack of cohesion, leadership and accountability. Shades of two years ago.”
Another wasn’t surprised as he said: “It’s over for Erik, this lot have given up. He’s lost this team. We’ve seen this before.”
While another suggested that the signs are showing that the dressing room has been lost: “The players don’t look like they care at all, he’s lost the dressing room…”
A fourth said that the players are throwing Ten Hag under the bus: “Feels like there’s a real lack of direction. So easy for the visitors. The players are doing to this manager what they’ve done several times before. Not surprised either.”
While one fan pointed the finger firmly at Ten Hag, saying: “It was never this bad under Ole, Mourinho or Van Gaal. He needs to go.”
How can Manchester United be fixed?
November seems destined to be a long, long month for Manchester United. It also looks likely now to be a deciding one.
From where the club is currently it will be an extremely difficult challenge for Ten Hag to turn this around.
Such a worrying result and another home defeat doesn’t bode well, as United continue on their worst-ever start to a season in the Premier League area.
