The iconic Denis Law passed away last month.
Denis Law spent 11 years at Old Trafford before he became one of Manchester United’s greatest-ever strikers.
Born in Aberdeen in February 1940, Law is recognised as Scotland’s best footballer of all-time as he remains the only Scotsman to have won the award for the world’s best player, the Ballon d’Or.
Law joined United from Torino in 1962 for a then-record British transfer fee of £115,000. He scored 237 goals in 404 appearances. He is also third place in the club’s highest scorers list, behind Wayne Rooney and Sir Bobby Charlton.
One third of the “United trinity”, alongside fellow legends George Best and Charlton, Law became known as “The King” among fans, who were saddened to hear of his passing on 17 January aged 84.

Denis Law funeral details
Thousands of football fans are expected to pay their final respects to Law today, ahead of his funeral.
The former striker will leave Old Trafford at 13:10 GMT before making its way to Manchester Cathedral for the service.
United fans have been invited to bid a final farewell to Law when the hearse passes Old Trafford.
The funeral procession will drive down Sir Matt Busby Way and briefly stop by the Holy Trinity statue. It will leave for Manchester Cathedral from Hotel Football’s side.
Sir Dave Brailsford to attend funeral
Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the Glazer family are not expected to attend Law’s funeral on Tuesday afternoon.
The Glazers did not attend Charlton’s funeral at the same venue in November 2023.
According to BBC Sport, Sir Dave Brailsford will be present as ownership/Ineos representative.
