Manchester United fans have been told to save the date: Thursday, 12 June 2025.
The 2024/25 season was one Manchester United will want to forget about, after finishing 15th in the Premier League and losing the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur.
Ruben Amorim endured a difficult first six months in charge. The United head coach will hope to receive significant backing from Ineos this summer to rebuild his squad.
The transfer window has started on a positive note with United confirming Matheus Cunha as their first summer signing, and the Red Devils have been quick to step up their pursuit of Bryan Mbeumo.
That means United have already moved on from a turbulent campaign to plan for the season ahead. Sir Dave Brailsford’s demotion is just an example of some of the changes that have been made since the end of the season.

Manchester United announce release date for new kit
The home strip of 2024/25 won’t be remembered fondly as it was worn during a season most United fans want to forget about.
United hope to improve on the pitch next season whilst modelling a new kit which they will wear in pre-season when they take the pitch next.
In a club statement issued on Thursday morning, United announced that the 2025/26 home kit will be officially released next week, on 12 June.
The kit will be available in shops throughout the world as well as United’s official website.
United were very brief with their announcement, with more details to follow next week.
